Does the app invade my privacy?
No, the mobile agent does NOT invade your privacy. The data collected from your device is only related to and used for the sole purpose of evaluating your device's security posture.
Who can see the security status of my device?
The security status of your device is only disclosed to you & your organization's BETTER MTD Console.
Does the app monitor my activities on other apps?
No, Active Shield does NOT monitor your activity on other apps. Active Shield does not rely on monitoring user activity to evaluate the security posture of the device.
Does the app process my photos, documents, or downloads?
NO. Active Shield only collects data that is relevant to the security of your device. Static files such as photos, videos, or documents are not examined in any circumstance.
Even downloaded files, such as an APK file, is not examined on download. It will only be examined if it attempts to install itself on your device - the user's privacy is always protected.
What information is monitored or collected by the app?
Active Shield keeps the data it collects to a minimum; only requiring the user's name and email address for registration and contacting purposes. Other than that, all other data collected by the app is only used for the purpose of evaluating your device's security posture - are you safe or not?
